With smart charging, you only need to enter in the app when your car should be fully charged, and then it takes care of the rest. The app schedules the charging to occur during the cheapest hours without you having to worry about the details.

Smart charging with a charging box gives even more people the opportunity to smart charge their electric vehicle and reduce their charging costs. The improved service also takes into account grid rental prices.

Here's how to get started

  1. Add car and charger

    Connect your car and charger in the app. We currently support Charge Amps, EO, EVBox, Easee, Wallbox, Zaptec, Garo, and ChargePoint. The supported cars can be seen here.

  2. Set up charging profile

    Set up your personal charging profile to suit your daily routine with the help of the various settings in the app.

  3. Connect the charger and relax

    Lean back and enjoy a complete overview in the app while your car charges during the cheapest hours.

Remote control of charging station

Now you can remotely control the charging box itself instead of having to remotely control the car. This offers several advantages, especially for cars that cannot be remotely controlled directly. In addition, remote control of the charging box is safer and more reliable, as it is specially designed for this purpose and always has coverage.Remember to activate smart charging only on the charger, or on the car.

Electricity + grid rental price

To get the complete picture, it's not enough to just look at the electricity price, but one must also consider the grid rental fee.

By using Smart Charging with a charging box, you can create a charging profile in the app that takes into account both the spot price and the grid rental fee. This ensures that your car charges at the cheapest time, while also being fully charged when you need to leave.

Smart charging directly to the car

You can also smart charge directly to the car if you don't have a smart charging box. This requires that the car supports smart charging.

Note that this feature does not take into account the electricity grid rental prices.
